Join us for our online Military History Seminars via Zoom in the early months of 2026 and boost your knowledge of key battles / military topics. These typically take place at 1:00pm Eastern Time on Sundays. This allows Europeans to participate as well.
There are two ways to receive login information for the seminars: 1) Sign up for our newsletter on the pop-up screen, or 2) email Randy Gaulke at kneedeepintohistory@gmail.com and tell him which seminars you are interested in. Login details are sent a day or two prior to the seminar.
2026 Online Military History Seminar Schedule
4 January–“Third Reich Underground” by Graham Gaulke
This seminar offers superb background information for those interested in our May 2026 tour, which looks at German efforts to protect their armaments industry from Allied bombardment.
***New***–18 January–“The 28th Inf. Div. in the Battle of the Bulge” by Randy Gaulke
This seminar offers great background information for our 28th Infantry Division trip in May/June as well as four our December Ardennes Offensive Tour.
***New***–1 February–“The Huertgen Forest, Including the 28th Inf. Div.” by Markus Klauer
We will be visiting the Huertgen Forest in our 28th Infantry Division tour in May/June, and the story of the Huertgen Forest is fascinating on a stand-alone basis.
***New***–15 February–“Our American Heritage: Why and How we Bury our War Dead in Europe” by Former ABMC Superintendent Dave Bedford.
We are thrilled to have a former ABMC Superintendent talk about the work of the ABMC.
***New***1 March–“Not Just Another Name on a Cross” by Randy Gaulke
This WW1 presentation will tell the stories of nine soldiers buried in the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery. It’s a little more personal and less “strategic” than our regular seminars.
15 March–“From WW1 to WW2: The German Side” by Markus Klauer
This seminar looks at key WW2 German leaders and their military careers, including WW1.
29 March–“From WW1 to WW2: The American Side” by Randy Gaulke
This presentation does the same, but looking at key American leaders in the European Theater of Operations.
19 April–“The Advance of KG Peiper Using Google Earth” by Markus Klauer
This has been a favorite for several years. Markus’ creativity with Google Earth makes an exciting presentation to follow Peiper’s advance during the Ardennes Forest.
26 April–“The Elimination and Encirclement of KG Peiper” by Randy Gaulke
Peiper’s forces became increasingly hemmed in by their lack of fuel, the destruction of key bridges by engineers and the ever-increasing American reinforcements flowing into the Ardennes.
