In 2023 we will be offering two special tours:  A WW1 tour focused on the 102nd Infantry Regiment and the Yankee Division as a whole, and a WW2 tour that will feature Battle of the Bulge historian Roland Gaul joining with us for one day.

Our other WW1 tours will feature the Meuse-Argonne and St. Mihiel Offensive, Verdun and Flanders Fields and the Somme.  Our WW2 tours will feature the Ardennes Offensive and Normandy.  If you want to follow in the footsteps of a particular relative or unit, we can also organize a private tour that will meet your needs.

Markus and Randy, I sincerely appreciate your enthusiasm for the war. I have traveled the battlefield in the past but I have not previously had a guide. Your experience added a great depth of understanding for me. I appreciate your concept of exploring the places by foot. I know the story from the American side, but the knowledge you add of the German experience is terrific. Your tours maximize limited time available for many people on holiday. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge!

This was a wonderful educational experience for me as I came with very limited background on WW1. Markus and Randy found a balance in giving me the rich overview of the battlefield without going into a depth that would have left me confused. A highlight of the trip for me was the leadership of Markus and Randy. They work so well together and it was so evident that they enjoy working together. Their interaction and humor added so much to the trip and made this a wonderful and educational experience for me. Wishing you both the very best in the future.

Markus (and Randy), thanks for the “all-in” experience throughout this week. I appreciate your attention to detail and kindness as you’ve led us through history, mud, rain, sun and time. History has come alive in new ways as we journeyed above and below ground.

Marching to retire the colors at the American Cemetery is a moment I will remember as we jointly honored the memory and sacrifice of all who did their duty. Your expertise is so enjoyable as you share it so easily & readily. All the Best!
